A day one patch for Insomniac’s Ratchet & Clank remake is making efforts to contain the spreading of spoilers for the film coming later this month.
GamesRadar+ reports that the PlayStation 4’s share functionality has been blocked during key scenes in Ratchet & Clank that will spoil aspects of the movie on which the game is based. These scenes are apparently directly from the movie, and cannot be captured and streamed through means native to the PlayStation 4. Whether this will remain the case after the movie comes to theaters on April 29th is unknown at this time.
The Ratchet & Clank remake is available now on PlayStation 4 in North America, and will be in European stores on the 20th. For more on the game, check out Gaming Trend’s review.
