Lifetime sales of the PlayStation 4 have passed 35.9 million units worldwide, with 5.9 million units being sold this past holiday season, Sony announced yesterday (via DualShockers).
The holiday season internally represents sales of the system between November 22, 2015 and January 2, 2016 in North America, Europe, and Latin America and between November 23, 2015 and January 3, 2016 in Japan and Asia. Sony saw a sales growth of nearly six million units in about a month, as it announced sales of the PS4 had passed 30 million back in November of last year.
Sony also announced that during the holiday period it sold 35 million PS4 titles, both digital and retail, and subscriptions to its PlayStation Plus service have raised 60 percent since last year’s holiday season.
