The makers of TTRPGs Yazeba's Bed and Breakfast and Wanderhome has partnered with Steve Jackson Games as an imprint:

Steve Jackson Games is thrilled to announce that they have joined forces with Possum Creek, a critically acclaimed and star-studded small press TTRPG company based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Possum Creek will become an imprint of Steve Jackson Games but will act with its own creative identity.

Founded in 2019, Possum Creek publishes tabletop RPGs and supplements that emphasize “community, marginality, and the magic of the mundane.” The company’s best-known release is Wanderhome, an award-winning pastoral fantasy RPG about traveling animal-folk. Wanderhome has won numerous awards, including ENNIEs for Best Family-Friendly Game, Best Cover Art, and Best Interior Art, and was a 2021 Nebula Finalist for Best Game Writing. Additional Possum Creek titles have won numerous awards, and the company was also named Most Innovative Games Company by Fast Company in 2022.

Jay Dragon, Editorial Director of Possum Creek, has joined the Steve Jackson Games Board of Directors and taken on an additional role as Lead Game Designer. Ruby Lavin, Art Director at Possum Creek, will also serve as Art Director at Steve Jackson Games. Possum Creek Office Manager Khyra Cross will continue with SJ Games as well.

Jay Dragon said: “The past months working with the team at Steve Jackson Games have been phenomenal. The integration of their decades of institutional experience with Possum Creek’s indie spark means we get to make beautiful art without getting bogged down in the administrative weeds. I can’t wait to show everyone what we’ve been up to.”
