The Pokémon Company released a new new trailer today, featuring the final forms of the Alolan starters, but between the concept art which leaked earlier this year and the demo being datamined, few fans were surprised by the final evolutionary forms of Decidueye, Incinieroar, and Primarina. Despite this, the video is still generating buzz, thanks to an unexpected and exciting feature which is delighting fans.
Pokémon Sun and Moon will give players the chance to test their skills against Pokémon League Champions, Red and Blue from the original Pokémon games! The video also shows glimpses of the founding of the Alolan Pokémon League, and Battle Tree, which allows players to team up and battle along side a fan favorite Pokémon characters, such as Cynthia and Wally.
This video also reveals the remaining three Guardians of the Alola region, the Water/Fairy type Tapu Fini, the Psychic/Fairy type Tapu Lele, and the Grass/Fairy type Tapu Bulu. It also give a look at the Z, Guardian of Alola. This move does damage equal to 75% of the target’s remaining HP, and is shared by all four Alolan Guardians. It also gives a glimpse of two more Pokémon: the rare Cosmog, and the Alolan Persian.
