Pokémon Go version 1.5.0 is now available for download, and introduces a Pokémon appraisal feature to Pokémon Go. This new option is sandwiched between “Favorite” and “Transfer,” and clicking it will summon your respective team leader, Candela, Blanche or Spark, who will tell you which of your Pokémon excel and which ones are a waste of Stardust. Their appraisals may seem a little cryptic at first, but fans of the core Pokémon games will already be familiar with these seemingly vague replies, as they follow directly in the spirit of the stats judge. The Pokémon Go Database, a fan site devoted to all things Pokémon Go, has already provided a list of responses and what exactly they tell you about your Pokémon.
The Pokémon Go team leader portraits were first revealed at the Pokémon Go panel at San Diego Comic-Con, where game creator John Hanke commented that fans had only seen the silhouettes of the three team leaders because the final artwork had not yet been finished on launch day. Hanke promised that the team leaders would soon have more of a presence within Pokémon Go, and it will be interesting to see what other roles, if any, Candela, Blanche and Spark take on. Despite server troubles and recent changes which caused fan outrage, Pokémon Go still remains very popular.
