PlayStation Now Beta Coming to Sony TVs Next Week
The on-going PlayStation Now beta will be heading to select Sony branded televisions next Monday on June 30th.
Sony’s blog confirms that the beta for Sony’s games streaming service will be available on “select 2014 Sony TV models, including all [Sony’s] 4KTVs as well as some of [Sony’s] 1080p HDTVs,” following the launch of the “Private Pilot Service”
Sony announced PlayStation Now at CES this year. The streaming service is the result of the company’s acquisition of Gaikai and allows users to stream PlayStation games on various platforms including PlayStation 4, 3, Vita and Sony TVs. A closed beta for the service has been on-going since January. The service will launch in full on July 31st.
