Not unlike Microsoft’s last minute delay of the Xbox One in the territory, Sony has announced it will be delaying the PlayStation 4 and Vita’s launch in China as well.
Initially slated to launch this Sunday, January 11th, neither of Sony’s systems will be coming to China at this date. Sony gave no concrete date for when the PS4 and Vita would eventually come to territory, only stating that the delay happened due to “various factors.”
This mirrors the same timing of the Xbox One’s delay in China, which occurred mere days before the system was supposed to launch. The system ended up being released six days later than originally scheduled, so maybe Sony will be able to get the PlayStation 4 and Vita out quickly as well.
