A Play Mephistowaltz spokesperson stated, “Our games have been successful, and approximately 20 million subscribers, including YouTubers, are creating secondary content for our games.” They added, “We have four games scheduled for release in 2024 and games in development. We have decided to participate in this exhibition to proceed with successful releases through global publishing contracts and to contract with publishers for mutual benefit. Additionally, we aim to meet passionate gamers and showcase and test games.”
They emphasized, “Our games combine outstanding graphic expression, creative gameplay, and familiar systems. Players can enjoy the games comfortably while experiencing new fun.”
Starting with a solo developer, Play Mephistowaltz has nine team members and considers 2024 an important period for moving to the next level. They plan to participate in the Tokyo Game Show in September and G-STAR in November.
The ‘2024 PlayX4 B2B,’ hosted by Gyeonggi Content Agency and KINTEX, is themed ‘More Than Just the Joy of Gaming’ and features exhibitions and experiences of new games from Korean and international game companies.
