Those of you who are interested in MMOFPS Planetside 2, be on alert! John Smedley of Sony has tweeted that Planetside 2’s beta is now seriously getting into gear. They’re on the phase where they let the current subscribers through the gates to take part in the beta, but it’s now just a matter of time until more and more people get a peek at this game. I am really looking forward to this one, since I was in Planetside 1 way back in the day – and I’ve never stopped wanting an FPS with hordes of players AND humongous maps to shoot them on. So if you’re holding on to a beta key, keep on alert. And if you’re not holding onto one but want one, well, keep on alert anyway because I’m sure we’ll eventually have giveaways to report on.
