FDG Entertainment announced today that it has released Oceanhorn – Monster of Uncharted Seas on the Nintendo Switch eShop today. The Zelda-inspired RPG aims to capture the thrill of the high seas in HD, whether the game is docked or in portable mode.
Oceanhorn puts you in control of a boy who one day receives a letter from his father, who has gone missing, with the only leads being an old notebook and a necklace. You’ll have to explore mysterious islands, fighting monsters and using magic while discovering ancient treasures that will help you on your quest. In addition to the 3D visuals, Oceanhorn contains music by Nobuo Uematsu (of Final Fantasy fame), and Kenji Ito (from the Mana series).
