Star Wars Battlefront II’s Battle for Geonosis update, which contains Obi-Wan Kenobi as a Light Side hero, has gone live. This update focuses on content from Star Wars: The Clone Wars and includes new vehicles, a new planet, and more.
Obi-Wan Kenobi built his legacy across eras, and we’re thrilled to have him join his peers on the light side in Star Wars Battlefront II. A composed and defensive combatant, a master of the Force, and a relished general throughout the Clone Wars, Obi-Wan is bringing some of his most renowned guiles to the battlefront.
The Restrictive Mind Trick leans into Obi-Wan’s expertise in controlling an enemy’s psyche, silencing the target’s Abilities for a short while. The Defensive Rush Ability sends him running forward while deflecting blaster shots with flawless accuracy. And, finally, the powerful and focused All-Out Push – with player-controllable range – knocks opponents off their feet and sends them flying through the air.
Obi-Wan Kenobi will be available with the default Jedi Master Appearance, but the Jedi Robes Appearance is also available and can be unlocked via Credits or Crystals. In addition to a new playable Light Side hero, players can play Galactic Assault on the all-new planet of Geonosis, along with new 212th Attack Battalion clone troopers. A new Shattered Armor Appearance for General Grievous is also available as well are three new vehicles to roam the Geonosian home world in including the AT-TE, STAP, and BARC Speeder.
The Star Wars: The Clone Wars update for Star Wars Battlefront II, Battle for Geonosis, is now available for free for all players. For more information, visit the official website.
