It’s time for gamescom in Cologne Germany, and Bandai Namco is kicking things off in style with a brand new trailer for Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom.
At 1:42 in length, this newest trailer gives us some story nibbles, a flash of some new friends and foes, and some boss battles to boot. If you’ve completely missed the boat, here’s a nibble about the storyline:
Re-enter the animated world of Ni no Kuni in the sequel to the role-playing masterpiece developed by LEVEL-5.
Explore a beautifully crafted world and experience the gripping story in an all-new RPG adventure. LEVEL-5 reunites with Yoshiyuki Momose on character design and Music created by Joe Hisaishi in the production of the next Ni no Kuni tale.
Ok, that didn’t help much — I guess I’m saying we don’t know much about the story yet. That said, if you’d like to learn more about some of the combat and features of Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom, check out our hands-on preview from E3, where it won Best RPG of Show.
Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom launches on the PlayStation 4 and PC via Steam on January 19, 2018.
