New Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin showcases The Forlorn

Checking out our review for Dark Souls II, our review for Crown of The Sunken King, and our review of Crown of the Ivory King, you can see that we are pretty stoked about the game. Today we have a new video for the upcoming expansion, Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin. The video shows off the new NPC invader system, as well as the dreaded Forlorn. It also showcases a lot of the extensive upgrades coming when it ships on April 7th.

DARK SOULS™ II: Scholar of the First Sin, the new vision for DARK SOULS™ II will include updated graphics and performance, new enemy placement, the new Forlorn invader, increase in online players, additional gameplay enhancements, all three DLC missions released for DARK SOULS™ II (Crown of the Sunken King, Crown of the Old Iron King, and Crown of the Ivory King), as well as all the new content including new story elements found in the latest content update available for current DARK SOULS™ II players.

Scholar of the First Sin is also coming to Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on the retail box, as well as a digital release for 32-bit OS PCs on the same date. If you are rocking a current-gen system, though, you can also pick it up for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and 64-bit PCs on the same date, but with a whole hell of a lot more shine. Enjoy the video and see for yourself!
