New Ace Combat Screens Showcase Helicopters, Bombers

Our latest batch of Ace Combat: Assault Horizon screenshots give us a glimpse of the franchise’s first foray into helicopter missions featuring the Apache Longbow, Hind, and Blackhawk.  Though some of these missions will be on-rails turret segments akin to some of the Modern Warfare games, Project Aces has already confirmed that the choppers will also be fully playable aircraft.

Also on display are the B-2 and B-1B bombers, as well as the AC-130 gunship.  I have to say that I didn’t really have an appreciation for that last one until it made an appearance in the first Transformers movie.  Now, I can’t wait to rain down unholy destruction when Assault Horizon takes flight October 11th.
