Naughty Dog Reveals Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End
After months of reports of tumultuous development following its reveal alongside the PlayStation 4 launch, Naughty Dog has given a proper unveiling to Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End.
The teaser trailer shown off at Sony’s E3 press conference shows a slightly older Nathan Drake washed up on a beach while a voice over from Drake’s voice actor, Nolan North, and Richard McGonagle as Drake’s father figure, Victor “Sully” Sullvan, can be heard.
Both the conversation between Drake and Sully and the game’s subtitle both imply that Uncharted 4 will be the final game in the Uncharted series.
At the end of the trailer Naughty Dog confirmed that the game will launch exclusively on PlayStation 4 sometime in 2015.
Prior to E3, Naughty Dog spoke out regarding reports that the development of Uncharted 4 was rife with drama, while also confirming that The Last of Us leads Neil Druckmann and Bruce Straley will be leading the project following the departure of original creative director Amy Henning and game director Justin Richmond.
