It looks like Uncharted fans can expect to see something new from Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End in the not so distant future, according to Naughty Dog’s Evan Wells.
Speaking with GameCrate, Wells talked about Naughty Dog’s 30th anniversary, as well as how the development process for Uncharted 4 is going. It was here that he confirmed fans wouldn’t have to wait too much longer to see more of Nathan Drake’s latest adventure.
It’s coming along nicely. We’ve been hard at work since E3 and all I can say is that we’ll be having some stuff to show you very soon.
When pushed for further clarification, Wells simply reiterated that there would be something “very” soon.
While there were reports that the game would be shown off at Tokyo Game Show, that never came to be. However, fans have gotten a few new glimpses into Uncharted 4 through a look at Nathan Drake’s in-game render, as well as some leaked concept art.
Other than that, there hasn’t been much to go on since the game’s proper reveal at Sony’s E3 press conference. A few plot details have trickled out though, indicating that A Thief’s End will be a personal story for Nathan Drake that won’t be influenced by the dark tone of The Last of Us.
Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End is coming to PlayStation 4 sometime in 2015.
