Following the success of the Steam Open Beta, the Mortal Shell II Open Beta is now available on PlayStation and Xbox, giving console players their first hands-on look at the brutal dark fantasy action RPG. The console beta offers the same content that hooked players on Steam, including access to the game's opening Prologue and an early stretch of its open world.
Players begin the Harbinger's journey by claiming their first Shells, meeting their disciples, and recovering the lost Ova, all while exploring dungeons, facing mini-bosses, and confronting one particularly formidable foe. Those who push beyond Marrow Keep will also earn the option to skip the Prologue in the full game when it launches.
As with the Steam beta, anyone who plays the Mortal Shell II Open Beta will unlock the Flayed Harbinger, an exclusive cosmetic reward that can be claimed in the full game at launch.
