Mortal Kombat X is getting new DLC next year

Mortal Kombat X is getting new characters and other content in the first half of 2016.

Developer NetherRealm will be rolling out new DLC next year, including “new playable characters, skins and a new environment,” but the announcement was fairly short on specifics.

Mortal Kombat X is available on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. A previous-gen version of the fighter was planned, but Warner Bros. announced the cancellation of the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 version last week. Despite this, Mortal Kombat X is 2015’s best-selling game so far.
