Update 8/28/17: Blowfish Studios has announced that the release date for Morphite will be delayed until September 20, which will be reflected below. The original date for the game was slated for September 7.
Blowfish Studios released a trailer for the upcoming Morphite and announced a simultaneous console release alongside PC and iOS, which includes Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. The sci-fi exploration shooter will be available on September 20.
With a team consisting of Crescent Moon Games, We’re Five Games, and Blowfish studios, Morphite follows Myrah Kale as she explores the far reaches of space and starts to uncover the mysteries of her past as well as the eponymous substance Morphite. The game will take place on procedurally-generated planets brimming with side quests, and players will face random encounters in real-time combat as well as trade with other travelers.
Morphite will be released on Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC, and iOS on September 20. Check out the trailer above, and stay tuned for more news here on Gaming Trend.
