We don't cover a ton of Kickstarter efforts unless we think they're something special. This is one of those. Tomo: Endless Blue has launched their Kickstarter effort, and they're already off to a great start. This co-op ARPG is being built by industry veterans from GTA, Dofus, Assassin’s Creed, Fortnite, League of Legends, Fall Guys, World of Warcraft, Baldur’s Gate, Warhammer, Asphalt, and many more, and you've got a lot of that DNA already obvious in the trailer below:
But what kind of game is Endless Blue anyway? Let's get a bit deeper:

Welcome to the Endless Blue, an ocean realm inhabited by mysterious creatures known as Tomo.
In this open-world voxel RPG, monster-taming, sandbox creativity, physics-driven gameplay, and multiplayer exploration come together in a world both unknown and strangely nostalgic.
Each player’s world is procedurally generated, revealing unique islands, landmarks, cultures, and adventures waiting to be discovered across the same living ocean.
Explore, capture and train Tomo, build a home, vehicles, and uncover the hidden history of the Endless Blue, alone or with friends in multiplayer.

If you're looking at it with my lens, this is the marrying of a lot of different genres and games, but blended in a way that's meant to build it all into a living world you can explore with your friends. As a friend of mine would say "all the feels".

The team has an ambitious go-forward goal of 10 months from the end of this Kickstarter to a playable build, with the game roughly 50% self-funded, and this effort looking to fill in the rest, as well as allowing players voice on what else they'd like to see to bring this game to life.
If you want to join the journey right here at Kickstarter! We wish the team good luck, and congratulate them on a very strong launch.
