To celebrate the success of their biggest online titles, Monster Hunter World and Final Fantasy XIV, Square Enix decided to arrange a little collaboration between the two giants. The teaser made its debut at the Square Enix Press Conference earlier today at E3. The collaboration is set to go live in summer of this year!
In order to access the content, which is detailed on the FFXIV site, FFXIV players will need to have a max level character with the main scenario quest “Stormblood” complete. Only then will they qualify for what appears to be a special Rathalos hunt.
FFXIV will likely return the favor with an event in Monster Hunter World, but that has yet to be announced. For now, all eyes are on FFXIV in the wake of update 4.3.
We ask you to stay tuned right here on Gaming Trend for all the latest news this E3 season.
