Monster Hunter: World gets a new trailer, exclusive Horizon Zero Dawn PS4 DLC and beta

Today, Capcom released a new trailer for Monster Hunter: World that shows off some sweet monster fighting action as well as the Rotten Vale area of the new world. The end of the trailer also revealed DLC allowing players to dress as everyone’s favorite robot dinosaur hunter Aloy, from Horizon Zero Dawn. In addition, Capcom also announced an exclusive beta and DLC for the PlayStation 4.

Horizon Zero Dawn’s young machine hunter Aloy comes to life in Monster Hunter: World for PS4 with Aloy’s bow and full armor set as well as Palico armor that can make the player’s Palico look like a machine from Horizon Zero Dawn.

In addition to the trailer, Capcom also announced that there will be a beta on PS4 for players who have a PS Plus membership. The beta will take place between December 9 – December 12, 2017 and allow players to take on three different quests.

Running for three days, hunters participating in the beta can tackle the hungry Great Jagras, a scavenger capable of swallowing other monsters whole, or the fiery and territorial Anjanath. For those feeling brave enough they can adventure to the desert land of the Wildspire Waste where the armored Barroth can be found lurking in the muddy waters.

Monster Hunter: World is slated for release on January 26, 2018 on PS4 and Xbox One with a PC release date still to come.
