Microsoft Flight Simulator will officially launch this August

Throughout the years, gamers have been able to experience various different flight simulation video games, but a large portion of them were underwhelming to say the least. But ever since we gamers saw the first official look at Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020, almost all of them were in agreement that it looked like something truly special. Now, thanks to a new report published by Xbox, we have confirmation as to when we will be able to take flight.

Today, Xbox Game Studios and Asobo Studio have announced that Microsoft Flight Simulator will be released on August 18th, and is currently available for pre-order on Windows 10 and Xbox Game Pass for PC starting today.

The game, which is crammed full of impressive details and gameplay mechanics, aims to be the most realistic and fun flight simulation experience out there. Judging by the newly released pre-order launch trailer, it seems as if that goal will more than likely be fulfilled. In Microsoft Flight Simulator, players will be able to fly over a vast, beautiful world populated with more than 1.5 billion buildings, 2 trillion trees, mountains, roads, and more. While flying, you will experience real-time weather mechanics, a day and night cycle, and more.
