Microsoft announces four new Surface designs featuring Intel Evo and Thunderbolt 4

This morning Microsoft announced four new Surface designs powered by Intel Core processors. Among the new designs is the Surface Pro 8, Surface Laptop Studio, Surface Pro 7+, and the Surface Go 3. You can read below for more information on each new design:

Microsoft announced four new Surface designs, built on deep co-engineering efforts with Intel and powered by Intel® Core™ processors, to light up the best of Windows 11. The new lineup includes the first consumer laptop-to-tablet PC based on the Intel® Evo™ platform and introduces Thunderbolt™ 4 universal cable connectivity on two Surface designs for the first time.

The Intel Evo verification and Thunderbolt 4 port addition in the new Surface design is a key milestone for the Intel and Microsoft partnership. Surface Pro 8: The first Surface Pro built on the Intel® Evo™ platform and first Surface Pro equipped with Thunderbolt 4 ports combines the flexibility of a tablet with the power of a laptop.

Surface Laptop Studio: The most powerful Surface powered by 11th Gen Intel Core H35 processors lets you seamlessly transition between three distinct work modes and offers high-performance expandability to flex your creative muscle with all-new Thunderbolt 4 ports.

Surface Pro 7+: The classic Surface Pro 2 in 1 design delivers the performance you need with 11th Gen Intel Core processors.

Surface Go 3: The most portable Surface PC provides 2 in 1 versatility with a 10th Gen Intel Core i3 processor.

More than three-fourths of Windows PCs are powered by Intel® processors. The Surface Pro 8 joins the growing roster of more than 80 Windows-based Intel Evo platforms from top original equipment manufacturers, including Acer, Asus, Dell, HP, Lenovo, LG, MSI and Samsung, among others.
