So, we all love to root for the underdogs, right? I mean, we love to see one- or two-person development teams make amazing content–it’s one of the reasons Dust: an Elysian Tail is as amazing as it is. Well, what if I told you that the screenshot above came from Meridian: New World–a sci-fi strategy game designed, coded, and built with love by a single guy?
Pretty cool, huh? The game itself looks pretty interesting, allowing you to select different weapons with which to equip your troops. I am a bit worried about some of the units looking suspiciously like some other famous mech property, but I think BattleTech is hardly somebody to make copyright claims given their history. If you’re interested in learning more head over to–well…normally I’d send you to the developers website, but it doesn’t seem to exist. So check out the trailer below instead!
