As mentioned in the previous trailer with Stefano, The Evil Within 2 is set to bring light to a handful of darker, human “monsters” that have made their way into the new STEM world. One of these is a man with a desire to fix this world of all he deems a sign with his righteous indignation, Father Theodore.
Father Theodore doesn’t bring along creatures he created, he has his own army of Harbingers, normal people whose minds have been bent to his will. These Harbingers wield flamethrowers to cleanse the world of all he considers a sin or stands in his way in a fiery blaze. He has his own reasons for being in STEM that are separate from Mobius’ goals, which is seen as misguided.
Sebastian Castellanos will once again return to hell in The Evil Within 2, which will be released Friday the 13th, October 2017 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. For more information visit the official website.
