Master Chief Collection is Real, and it’s Huge

Microsoft and 343 Industries have confirmed previous rumors by revealing that Halo: The Master Chief Collection is in fact real and coming to Xbox One on November 11th.

The collection will include the first four mainline Halo titles all with a unified interface, custom playlists, and all run at 1080p and at 60 frames per second with dedicated servers. In total the collection will offer players up to 4000 Gamer Score in achievements.

Halo 2 will be receiving the full “Anniversary” treatment, coinciding with its ten year anniversary. This includes updated visuals and the ability to switch back to the visuals of the original Xbox version on a whim.

The collection will also include the live action series Halo: Nightfall, which will lead into the upcoming Halo 5: Guardians.

The Halo 5: Guardians beta will also come with the collection.
