343 has confirmed that the Master Chief Collection’s next update is in the final testing stages.
News of this comes from the Halo Waypoint, where the studio stated that it’s currently putting the finishing touches on the update, and will have information soon.
Also announced in the post is that the studio is now rolling out the 2v2 mode called Team Doubles for Halo 2 Classic, Halo 2: Anniversary, Halo 3, and Halo 4. Future updates will apparently bring tweaks to the collection’s voting options and weighting in order to create more variety in game types.
The Master Chief Collection contains all four mainline Halo games, all acting as a lead-in to Halo 5: Guardians, which recently got an October release date.
