Finally in HD and blistering onto your Wii U at 60 frames per second, Mario Kart 8 looks poised to turn your head (and maybe your stomach).
Plenty of features from previous incarnations are making a comeback such as tricks, motorcycles, hang gliders and underwater racing, but new this year will be the dizzying ability to defy gravity. Races will take to the walls and ceilings, in an effort to show you racing from a whole new perspective.
Fan-favorites Toadette and Waluigi are also making a return, ready to join the fun with up to 12 players online. And, not wanting to be left in the share-your-gaming-clip dust, Nintendo has created Mario Kart TV featuring highlights from the Miiverse.
Mario Kart 8 will be coming to the Wii U in Spring of 2014.
