Magic: The Gathering fans can adventure and explore the world of Theros in the RPG Mythic Odysseys of Theros, available now

Wizards of the Coast is excited to announce the combination one of the world’s greatest roleplaying game with one of it’s greatest strategy games to create a campaign setting in Mythic Odysseys of Theros. This will allow players to explore the world of Magic: The Gathering that they have always wanted to dive deeper into. Mythic Odysseys of Theros is available today in physical hardcover and also as a digital download on D&D Beyond, Fantasy Grounds, and Roll20.

Set in the Magic: The Gathering world of Theros, players can wield a god’s weapon and play using new race options as they embark on a challenge fit for the gods. Select a supernatural gift, aligning your character with one of Theros’ fifteen gods and carve a tale of odysseys and ordeals on your personal path to destiny. The new sourcebook introduces the Bard’s College of Eloquence and the Paladin’s Oath of Heroism, even as it presents players with the challenge of mythic monsters. Destiny and immortal schemes lead the players’ characters through challenges previously unknown, leaving behind an odyssey that will be celebrated in the athenaeum of legends writ among the eternal stars.

The first 20 fans who supported their friendly local game store by pre-ordering the physical format at a participating Wizards Play Network store, will receive a poster map (while supplies last), scaled for reference and displaying key adventuring sites within the setting. The first 20 fans who pre-ordered (or purchased) Mythic Odysseys of Theros also received a unique code for 50% off the digital version on D&D Beyond.
