If you've had your Batsignal out for playing LEGO Batman on Switch 2, he's about to arrive. LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight launches on Switch 2 on September 18th, and that's not all! LEGO® Batman™: Legacy of the Dark Knight, the critically acclaimed action-adventure videogame, will be coming to Nintendo Switch™ 2 on Sept. 18. In advance of the upcoming release, a new launch trailer is now available today and showcases the Nintendo Switch 2 version of the game.
With LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight on Nintendo Switch 2, players will have the flexibility to experience Bruce Wayne's epic journey of becoming the Dark Knight either docked in TV mode or on the go in handheld or tabletop mode.

Fans can pre-order the Nintendo Switch 2 Standard and Deluxe Editions now. All Nintendo Switch 2 pre-orders (Standard & Deluxe Editions) will receive The Dark Knight Returns in-game Batsuit, inspired by the acclaimed comic book series, available at launch. LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight Nintendo Switch 2 Deluxe Edition owners will receive the following content at launch on Sept. 18:
- Access to the Mayhem Collection DLC, incl. The Joker and Harley Quinn as playable characters, breaking out of Arkham Asylum in a new story mission, causing chaos on the streets of Gotham City via the new Mayhem Mode gameplay experience, and the Sinister Pack of DC Super-Villain themed outfits, Batcave items, and a vehicle
- Access to the Legacy Collection DLC, incl. new suits, vehicles, and Batcave items inspired by the Batman: Arkham videogame series, Batman Beyond television series, and a party music themed pack
- Free LEGO Retro Videogame Batman™ Minifigure (*available with physical edition only & while supplies last)
Additionally, an enhanced Absolute difficulty level will be added as a free update for all LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight owners on Sept. 18, in conjunction with the launch of the Nintendo Switch 2 version and the Mayhem Collection DLC. This new setting is designed to be even more challenging than the Caped Crusader and Dark Knight options, requiring greater skill, awareness, and precision in combat.
