Launch trailer revealed for Sniper Elite V2 Remastered, game to be released tomorrow digitally

Ahead of its digital launch tomorrow, Rebellion released a new trailer for the upcoming Sniper Elite V2 Remastered, a visually enhanced version of the 2012 third-person tactical stealth shooter. While the digital version of the game will be released tomorrow, the physical version will be released this Friday, May 17th.

Sniper Elite V2 Remastered takes players to Berlin, 1945, and the heart of World War 2. As veteran sharpshooter Karl Fairburne you must use skill, patience and cunning to prevent the unthinkable. Your mission is to go behind enemy lines and prevent the cataclysmic Nazi V2 rocket technology from falling into the hands of the Red Army. Deadly aim and a stealthy approach are vital as you find yourself trapped between two armies in a race against time.

Sniper Elite V2 Remastered amplifies the original’s iconic sniping and advanced ballistics with a host of improvements and added extras. In addition to impressive 4K and HDR support on available platforms, the game features stunning remastered visuals, from overhauled assets to modernized rendering and much more.

In addition to the visual overhaul is a new photo mode where you’re able to pause and move the action frame-by-frame to get a perfect X-ray kill cam shot. You can also run through the campaign as one of seven characters from the zombie army series. Multiplayer has been expanded to 16 on all platforms excluding Nintendo Switch, which is limited to 8 players.

Sniper Elite V2 Remastered will be released tomorrow digitally on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and PC for $34.99. The physical version will be released this Friday. For more information, visit the official website.
