Ahead of Firewall Ultra’s August 24 launch, First Contact Entertainment and Sony released a new blog unveiling the new PvE game mode, Exfil. Blending co-op elements with PvE gameplay, all maps and modes will support the new mode. Pre-orders for Firewall Ultra are still available via the PlayStation Store.
PvE Blog Summary:
–The new Firewall Ultra PvE Co-Op game mode is named Exfil
–Exfil supports either solo play or up to four total in co-op
–Can be played privately or with public matchmaking
–Players must hack the access point, hack three separate laptops, and then successfully exfiltrate the map to earn all rewards
–AI enemies are extremely dangerous and difficult to face
–Enemies will lay traps, use cover, breach doors, and act intelligently
–All maps support both PvP and PvE game modes
–Laptops and the Exfil location all spawn dynamically to avoid repetition
–Firewall Ultra pre-orders are now live on the PSN store, release 8/24/23 at 8AM PT
