Prospective point-and-click title Pigsodus is nearing its Kickstarter deadline, with $30,000 needed by August 16.
From developer Psilocybe Games, Pigsodus follows Horace Oinkstein as he tries to survive the threat of a relentless butcher, hunters, and wolves in the Alaskan woods. The game uses RPG elements as well as point-and-click mechanics to convey the story in a tale inspired by George Orwell’s Animal Farm.
The Kickstarter campaign for Pigsodus will end on August 16, with nearly $23,000 required out of the initial $30,000 goal. Ron Gilbert, creator of classic adventure games such as Maniac Mansion and The Secret of Monkey Island, has recently backed the project, endorsing the title. You can check out a demo for Pigsodus on its Kickstarter page.
