Kickstarter campaign for Resident Evil: The Board Game has now launched

Resident Evil: The Board Game is one step closer to release as its Kickstarter campaign launched today and has already far surpassed its original goal. The Kickstarter campaign features a detailed video featuring a close look at the lovingly crafted game board and figurines. You can check out a full playthrough above and a few details below. Be sure to check out their Kickstarter page for a detailed breakdown of all aspects of the game.

Created by Steamforged Games (Resident Evil™ 2 & 3: The Board Game, Monster Hunter World™: The Board Game, Dark Souls™: The Board Game, Horizon Zero Dawn™: The Board Game, Devil May Cry™: The Bloody Palace) in partnership with Capcom, Resident Evil: The Board Game is the crowning celebration of a tabletop survival horror experience years in the making.

Each Resident Evil board game has iterated on the survival horror engine and mechanics to create a deeper, darker, and more immersive experience.

Now, finally, Resident Evil: The Board Game will go back to where it all began. Back to the Spencer Mansion…

As we explore the mansion, the choices you make will affect who survives the night to be added to your pledge as an Advanced Character. Track your progress on the picture below. Looks like everyone is still alive somewhere in the mansion… for now.
