Wanna learn about the gear system in the upcoming game Injustice 2? Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment has given us a new trailer entitled “Everything You Need to Know” showcasing the whole mechanic, as well as a closer look at the story mode, and some of the characters you’ll get to play.
The trailer shows the new guild system as well, allowing up to 50 players to build their own teams, as well as earning gear exclusive to the mode. You’ve likely heard the tagline “Every battle defines you” but what does that mean, exactly? Here’s a snippet from the developers themselves:
Injustice 2 expands on the previous title’s larger-than-life showdowns. With every match, players earn gear to equip, customize and level-up their favorite DC Super Heroes and Super-Villains that meaningfully impacts not only how they look, but also how they fight.
The game is right around the corner, and trailers like this are just making me even more excited for the NetherRealm-built fighter. Injustice 2 will be available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on May 16th. Stay tuned.
