TOKYO — Sept. 1, 2026 — INDIE Live Expo 2026.12.1, the biannual live digital event connecting worldwide indie game fans that has amassed more than 100 million views since debuting in 2020, today opens submissions for developers and publishers to showcase their newest titles during Japan’s next biggest indie showcase on Tuesday, Dec. 1, 2026.
Indie developers and publishers can submit to participate in INDIE Live Expo’s 15th show by sharing both 30-second trailers and 15-second gameplay videos for consideration. Submissions for the INDIE Waves showcase segment are open until Mon, Sept. 28 at 7:59 PM PDT / Tuesday, Sept. 29 at 4:59 AM CEST on the INDIE Live Expo official website. In addition to showcasing 80+ titles during INDIE Waves’ signature high-energy trailer segment, powered by Cygames, INDIE Live Expo will shine a spotlight on the game creators themselves. Learn about each developer’s origins, dive deep into their creative processes, and hear the backstories behind the next generation of must-have indie gems.
Asia’s biggest online indie showcase will have four languages, English, Japanese, Chinese, and Korean which will be available on YouTube, Twitter/X, Twitch, Steam, Niconico and bilibili on Tuesday, Dec. 1, 2026.
