For those unfamiliar, ICARUS a highly successful PvE survival game developed by RocketWertz that launched back in 2021. The game’s upcoming expansion, New Frontiers, adds 6 new missions, 30 workshop weapons, new resources, and a Red Exotics currency. When it launched in December 2021, Icarus reached number one on Steam’s Global Top Sellers Charts and quickly sold over one million copies. The first chapter dropped players into safe, Earth-like terraformed zones on the planet, but New Frontiers ventures into more dangerous areas featuring volcanic, swamp and alien grassland biomes teaming with alien creatures mutated by the terraforming process.
