We’re all excited about Homeworld 3’s upcoming release, and that’s not all there is to look forward to. Today, Gearbox Publishing and Blackbird Interactive dropped what you can look forward to in the space outside the initial one you’ll experience soon. Today, April 17, Gearbox Publishing and Blackbird Interactive proudly present the 2024 Content Roadmap for Homeworld 3. This includes additional content for War Games, a highly replayable RTS experience that fuses Homeworld’s RTS gameplay with roguelike inspiration that can be enjoyed solo or co-op. These upcoming updates will provide players with a variety of content such as new challenges, artifacts, systems, maps and playable factions.
Here are some topline details of the roadmap:
June Free Content Drop: 10 new challenges and artifacts.
July Paid DLC: Another playable faction, 2 faction fleets, a faction emblem and 10 new faction challenges.
August Free Content Drop: 10 new challenges, 5 new artifacts and new map.
October Paid DLC: New playable faction, new faction-starting fleets and faction emblem
Fourth Quarter Free Content Drop (timing TBD): New challenges, map and more new content.
