Gray Bits (CEO Yonghyun Jung) has announced its participation in the upcoming ‘2024 PlayX4 B2B’ at KINTEX Hall 1 in Ilsan from May 23rd to 26th.

Founded in 2023 by industry veterans who previously developed and produced the Series Isa Manru and MLB Perfect Inning series, Gray Bits is a mobile baseball game company. The company’s mission is to create a simplified and engaging baseball experience while maintaining the dynamic and thrilling essence of the sport. They are dedicated to developing an advanced simulation engine and realistic highlights to enhance user accessibility and engagement.

Gray Bits is developing a mobile simulation baseball game based on the KBO (Korea Baseball Organization). The game’s development is approximately 30% complete, focusing on the system, core content, and scenario. It is targeted for release in January or the first half of 2025.

At the PlayX4 exhibition, Gray Bits will introduce ‘Professional Baseball Team Spirit Manager’ (‘Team Spirit Manager’ from now on). This game is designed to integrate seamlessly into the busy lives of modern individuals, maximizing the intersection between everyday life and mobile baseball gaming. The company aims to showcase the evolution and potential of mobile baseball games to industry stakeholders and investors. Additionally, they hope to draw inspiration from the innovations and changes sweeping the mobile gaming industry.

Unlike traditional control-based mobile baseball games, Team Spirit Manager enhances idle gameplay and system convenience. Players can engage with the game effortlessly amidst their daily activities, recruiting players and developing teams and individual athletes without the stress of complex controls.

In a TV broadcast-like format, users will also witness real baseball scenarios (rundowns, wild pitches, passed balls, bench-clearing brawls). The team spirit manager aims to incorporate real-game situations continually to deliver excitement and emotion that other games have yet to achieve.

Furthermore, Team Spirit Manager moves away from the traditional step-by-step, vertical player card system, introducing a wish card acquisition system based on visible probabilities. This approach lets users focus on baseball strategies and tactics rather than getting lost in card collection, creating a more authentic baseball experience.

Following its launch in Korea, Gray Bits plans to expand into regions with a strong baseball gaming culture, such as Taiwan, North America, and Japan. Taiwan is identified as a primary target due to its high passion and understanding of baseball, which has been evident in other games.

Gray Bits emphasizes that its doors are always open to investors, publishers, and industry professionals from Taiwan, China, North America, Japan, and other regions. Team Spirit Manager’s unique approach, considering the modern lifestyle and mobile gaming nature, along with the expertise of its management and development team, presents a compelling opportunity.

The company aims to launch the game in Korea in 2025 and expand internationally. Plans are also in place to make Team Spirit Manager available on various platforms. Gray Bits will participate in exhibitions such as G-Star, Tokyo Game Show, and E3 to promote the game.

Hosted by Gyeonggi Province and organized by Gyeonggi Content Agency and KINTEX, the 2024 PlayX4 B2B event will showcase new releases and experiences from domestic and international game companies under the theme “More than the Fun of Games.” The event will also feature side programs such as a retro market, e-sports competitions, and cosplay events.
