Brno, Czech Republic, March 13, 2025 – The Early Access release of Gray Zone Warfare benefits significantly from the opportunity to develop the game with substantial support from a dedicated community. Thanks to continuous improvements in mutual communication, the development roadmap has been revised to outline planned updates and content leading up to the full game release.
The next update, initially scheduled for the fall, will be released within a few months. Players can look forward to new PvP mechanics that will significantly enhance the intensity of player encounters. From now on, every enemy engagement on the map will be marked as a PvP zone, allowing each player to choose whether to engage in or avoid the battle.
One of the most exciting new features—heavily requested by both players and content creators—is the introduction of combat bases, which will serve as focal points for PvP battles. Once captured after a fight, these bases will function as fast travel points and provide various other tactical advantages.

Implementing a dynamic weather system—beyond combat alone—will add another major expansion to tactical gameplay. The reactive environment will expose players to rain, storms, fog, and other weather conditions that impact visibility and strategy. To help with operational planning, a new weather forecast feature will be introduced on the server information screen.
Finally, the game will receive Czech localization, reflecting the studio’s pride in developing a globally successful title and proving once again that the Czech Republic can produce world-class games. In addition to Czech, the game will receive ten more language localizations: German, French, Portuguese (Brazilian), Spanish, Italian, Polis, Turkish, Chinese (Simplified), Korean and Japanese.
