Today, Cygames and Arc System Works opened pre-orders for the Nintendo Switch 2 version of Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising. The Legendary Edition launches September 17th for $49.99 and features a brand new mode as well as two new features included in a day one patch. Players can also link their save data from Granblue Fantasy: Relink - Endless Ragnarok for some bonuses. The Legendary Edition compiles all the game's DLC for a total of 40 playable fighters, including newcommer Id.

Pre-ordering or purchasing early (until 6:59 a.m., Jan. 12, 2027 (PT)) will also net you the Revenant Attire for Sandalphon. After that time period, the costume will be available for purchase separately.
Coming exclusively to the Nintendo Switchâ„¢ 2 version of GBVSR, Gyro Versus is a new mode that allows players to perform combos and abilities by shaking their Joy-Conâ„¢ or Joy-Conâ„¢ 2, giving anyone the chance to indulge in the rush of battle no matter their skill level. Gyro Versus will only be playable in Versus Mode on the Nintendo Switchâ„¢ 2 version of GBVSR.
Additionally, two new system mechanics, Chain Attack and Super Ultimate+, will be added to GBVSR with the Version 2.60 update. Chain Attacks are a useful tool that will provide players with more combo opportunities. Super Ultimate+ is a unique control scheme where players can experience powerful versions of characters that far exceed their standard capabilities, adding a distinct twist to battle.
Standard and Deluxe Editions of GBVSR on PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4 and Steam® will have access to the new system mechanics with the release of the Version 2.60 update on Sept. 17. Additional Character Set (Id) will be sold separately.
The Switch 2 version also allows you to battle locally using local wireless, and to round things out the game also includes crossplay so you can throw down with anyone, anytime, anywhere.
