Little Nightmares III may not be releasing for quite some time, but to tide us over while we wait a new 18-minute long co-op gameplay video has been released. Little Nightmares III will be the first time this critically acclaimed series features a co-op option, though the game is still playable single player with AI controller your partner. You can check the video out above and read below for more details:

LITTLE NIGHTMARES™ III follows the journey of Low and Alone, two friends looking for a way to escape The Nowhere – a whimsical and nightmarish world. As the two make their way through the Spiral, a cluster of disturbing and dangerous places, they encounter signature elements that have made LITTLE NIGHTMARES™ games unique, from clever puzzles and dangerous threats to memorable creatures such as Monster Baby. LITTLE NIGHTMARES III will feature online co-op for the first time in the franchise, letting players take on the role of Low or Alone and experience this dreadful world with the help of a companion. The game will also be fully playable in single player with AI controlling the second character.

In the new 18-minute co-op gameplay video of LITTLE NIGHTMARES III, players will get immersed into the depths of The Necropolis and see how the two characters work together to overcome its many perils. A peculiar place raised from the desert sands and powered by gusting winds, The Necropolis has been described as a city of eternal energy and certain death. It used to be inhabited by the Dwellers, but nowadays the ancient metropolis is a ghost town fraught with dangers that Low and Alone must survive.

The award-winning LITTLE NIGHTMARES franchise continues to expand the rich universe established over multiple games with The Sounds of Nightmares, a 6-episode podcast telling an original story. The series follows the story of Noone, a young girl who is committed to the Counties Psychiatric Institute to deal with her ever-worsening nightmares. She is under the care of Otto, the Counsellor, a man who dedicated his life to helping children. As their story unfolds across each session, Otto’s past and the source of Noone’s nightmares seem destined to collide. All episodes are available now and can be listened to here: Sounds of Nightmares.

Also available now is the limited-edition LITTLE NIGHTMARES III diorama. This collectible item depicts Low and Alone escaping the grasp of Monster Baby’s giant, fleshy hand. The collectible serves as a stark reminder that when faced with a grotesquely oversized infant that craves love, attention, and squishing anything it can get its hands on, the only option might just be to run…
