Good Old Games is currently offering three fantastic games for free. For the next day and a half, gamers can download Fallout 1, Fallout 2, and Fallout Tactics at zero cost to themselves. These games are all classics, especially Fallout 1 and 2. But why are the games up for free? Bad blood.
It turns out that Interplay, which currently holds the rights to these three games, will lose ownership of their Fallout library. At the end of this year, the titles are reverting to ZeniMax–the holding company that owns Bethesda, the company that brought us Fallout 3. With no love lost between ZeniMax and Interplay, it’s likely that Interplay is taking one last shot at ZeniMax.
Well, it’s nice to see some bad blood between faceless corporations once in a while. Especially when it means gamers get quality product for free. Head over to GoG and get your share!
