If you want to measure the success of a platform, you need only look at one big factor – if you have support from EA, you’ll probably be ok. Electronic Arts didn’t support the Dreamcast and we know exactly what happened to them. Good Old Games has announced that they have added support from EA in a big way – they brought the games. Ultima Underworld I and II, including both The Stygian Abyss and Labyrinth of World, Dungeon Keeper, and Wing Commander Privateer starting on day 1. Not enough? The coming soon section includes Crusader: No Remorse, Sid Meier’s Alpha Centari, and Magic Carpet! These games are classics indeed. Will we get our hands on Bioshock? Will we get the rest of the Wing Commander series? The mind races with the possibilities! Congrats go out to GoG on their continues success. Check out the video for a trip down nostalgia lane.
