Go Beyond The Wall with a New Game of Thrones DLC

Cyanide announced today its first DLC for their Game of Thrones title, called Beyond The Wall. Offering an extra two hours of gameplay, Beyond The Wall takes a look at the dark past of one of the games’ main characters, Mors “The Butcher” Westford. Chronicling his early days as a Ranger on the wall, the DLC explores Westford’s origins and his scars in a quest that takes players into the frozen wasteland of the North and deep into the heart of Wildling territory.

…We offer players a chance to extend their Game of Thrones experience with a DLC quest, and to travel to lands feared by all inhabitants of the Seven Kingdoms… a frozen, hostile territory, feared not only because of the dangers it represents, but also for all the legends of what lies beyond: the Northern lands, laying North of the gigantic Wall protected by the Night’s Watch.

Game of Thrones takes place alongside the first novel in the A Song of Ice and Fire series by George R.R. Martin, expanding the universe with the exploits and captivating events experienced by the Night’s Watch Ranger Mors Westford, and the red-robed Alestar Sarwyck, a priest of R’hllor. Praised for its epic story and featuring cameos by actors from the HBO series as well as Martin himself, Game of Thrones is a must-have title for all diehard ASOIAF fans.
