A new addition to Pokken Tournament’s roster has been revealed, and this time it has been announced that the Ghost-type Gengar will be playable in the upcoming fighter.
Gengar joins the likes of Pikachu, Gardevoir, and Suicune in the Pokemon fighting game being developed by Bandai Namco’s Tekken team. Like Lucario before him, Gengar will be able to Mega Evolve in Pokken Tournament.
Pokken Tournament is coming to arcades later this year, and may be ported to Wii U sometime in the future. According to Bandai Namco, Nintendo hasn’t been strict on the development of Pokken Tournament, but did shoot down an idea to have Pokemon trainers be playable alongside actual Pokemon.
