Today, Games Done Quick announces Flame Fatales, a speedrunning event for women and feminine identifying people.
Games Done Quick’s all-women and femmes summer speedrunning event Flame Fatales returns this summer, August 18-25, with an exciting lineup of speedruns and showcases to benefit Malala Fund. Check out the full schedule here!
Organized by GDQ’s Frame Fatales community, Flame Fatales (and its winter sister event Frost Fatales) highlights women and nonbinary gamers of the speedrunning community while raising money for charity. This year, Flame Fatales benefits the non-profit organization Malala Fund, which secures free, safe, and quality education for girls globally, especially in regions where secondary education is less or non-accessible to girls.
This year, fans can watch speedrunners race through games like Horizon Forbidden West, Splatoon 3, Tears of the Kingdom, Neon White, Super Mario Odyssey, and many, many more. All runs will be broadcast through Games Done Quick’s official Twitch channel.
