Today, Galaxies held their second showcase, featuring over an hour of announcements from more than 50 titles.
The second Galaxies showcase has concluded, delivering over an hour of non-stop gaming announcements from 50+ titles. Hosted by Jane Douglas, the event featured six world premieres, exclusive gameplay footage, demo drops, and major release announcements.
The showcase opened with the world premiere gameplay trailer for DEFECT, an immersive cyberpunk squad-based shooter from independent developer emptyvessel. Fans got to see the highly anticipated game’s dark and dangerous dystopian world where AI controls the city and chaos above all reigns supreme. Three major world premiere game reveals dominated the evening: Unifiq unveiled Unhinged, an ambitious open-world survival craft experience where you find yourself trapped in a bizarre corporate experiment; PlaySide Studios announced Dumb Ways to Party, the first ever PC & Console title from Dumb Ways to Die, bringing irreverent party gaming chaos; and Team 17 debuted Skinwalker, taking their expertise into bold new horror territory with atmospheric survival mechanics.
The showcase delivered substantial exclusive content across the board:

Unifiq world premiered Unhinged, an ambitious open-world survival craft experience where you find yourself trapped in a bizarre corporate experiment
PlaySide Studios revealed the first ever Dumb Ways to Die title for PC & Console with Dumb Ways to Party, bringing a whole new level of absurdity to players around the world with their irreverent humor and creative party gameplay.
Team 17 world premiered Skinwalker, an unannounced project that takes the publisher's expertise into bold new horror territory with atmospheric tension and innovative survival mechanics.

NACON & MAJOR PUBLISHER ANNOUNCEMENTS
NACON took center stage with an exclusive new look at Cthulhu: The Cosmic Abyss, where Big Bad Wolf Studios plunges players into a 2053 nightmare beneath the Pacific Ocean, investigating the sunken city of R'lyeh while battling Cthulhu's maddening influence in this tense Lovecraftian thriller launching in 2026.
NACON also debuted the story and world trailer for Edge of Memories, Midgar Studio's apocalyptic RPG following Soul Whisperer Eline as she wields dark powers against The Corrosion threatening the continent of Avaris, featuring real-time combat in a lush, corrupted world.
Saber Interactive's 3D Realms label brought the heat with Painkiller's official launch. This complete reimagining of the legendary action shooter franchise introduces three-player co-op as players battle horrifying enemies across Purgatory's gothic landscapes, wielding classic and innovative weapons against hordes of demons and the monstrous Nephilim.
Playstack is teaming up with Studio 316 to publish co-op delivery shenanigans simulator PACS (Post Apocalypse Courier Service), revealed today with a brand new trailer at the Galaxies Showcase. Players can now sign up for the upcoming playtest at pacsgame.com.
PlaySide Studios and Fumi Games also announced the release date of 19 March 2026 for MOUSE: P.I. For Hire, the highly anticipated first-person shooter featuring hand-drawn rubber hose animation inspired by classic cartoons of the 1930s, and a thrilling noir-fueled detective story set in the city of Mouseburg.

TEAM 17 & KEPLER INTERACTIVE SHOWCASES
Team 17 delivered two major announcements beyond their Skinwalker world premiere: a new gameplay and explainer video for Rockbeasts, Lichthund's authentic '90s rock management experience featuring voice actors from Baldur's Gate 3, Cyberpunk 2077, and Horizon Zero Dawn; and fresh gameplay footage from Silver Pines, Wych Elm's mysterious survival horror journey through a Twin Peaks-inspired Washington township, coming in 2026.
Kepler Interactive presented an arsenal of announcements spanning their diverse portfolio, including an epic new look at turn-based RPG Solasta II from Tactical Adventures, coming early 2026. Pacific Drive received a content shadow drop for chilling DLC Whispers in the Woods, extending Ironwood Studios' haunting Pacific Northwest survival experience.
Motion Twin's Windblown shared an exciting update to celebrate its first anniversary in Early Access, delivering significant content expansion that reshapes the roguelite's landscape. Piece of Cake Studios launched Dark Hours, the supernatural co-op heist-gone-wrong.

PARTNER HIGHLIGHTS
emptyvessel premiered the brand new gameplay trailer for DEFECT, an immersive cyberpunk squad-based shooter, featuring intense 4v4 multi-objective combat with futuristic weapons. Audiences witnessed the world of DEFECT’s cutting-edge technology through stunning visuals and in game footage reflecting emergent moments and dynamic branching narratives that react to player actions in real time.
Secret Mode shadow-dropped Instruments of Destruction on console, bringing physics-based demolition action to new platforms, alongside the 1.0 Steam launch for their co-op horror exploration experience Escape the Backrooms.
Fireshine Games commanded attention with A.I.L.A's November 25th release window announcement for Pulsatrix Studios' tech-horror experience, Denshattack!'s new gameplay showcasing gravity-defying train adventures through dystopian Japan from Undercoders, and Far Far West's first open playtest for Evil Raptor's robot cowboy co-op shooter.
Futurlab launched the sequel to their splashy title PowerWash Simulator. In Powerwash Simulator 2, players can now clean solo, with a friend, or with up to four players online, then tackle a 38-level career mode, new traversal tools, and a proper Home Base which they can decorate.
Owlcat Games, as the publisher, showcased the Rue Valley story trailer from developer Emotion Spark Studio — a narrative RPG about a man trapped in a time loop, coming to PC on November 11 and to consoles soon. Owlcat also revealed new gameplay from Shadow of The Road by developer Another Angle Games, spotlighting the spirit realm of Ne-no-kuni and its new yōkai enemies in turn-based combat where feudal Japan meets magic and machine.
Noodle Cat Games revealed the story trailer for Cloudheim, their cooperative action RPG coming to early access December 4, where gods have chosen players to rebuild the world after Ragnarok through crafting and chaotic physics-based combat.
Big Fan Games unleashed new Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun 2 content with more heretic-purging action in this brutal retro FPS sequel, available to wishlist now.
Crosswind Crew showcased brand-new content for Crosswind, their survival adventure set in the Age of Piracy featuring procedural open world exploration, soulslite combat, and solo or cooperative adventures across land and sea.
ESDigital Games and Far Far Games presented the “Pump It Up” fashion trailer for Bylina, a skill-based Action RPG rooted in Slavic legends, where players venture into the Far Far Kingdom to face mythical beasts and challenge Koschei the Deathless himself.
Megabit Publishing announced more information for CLAWPUNK, their adrenaline-fueled action-arcade game featuring nine fierce cat heroes battling through destructible environments in Feral City and launching November 14th.
Blumhouse Games revealed a December 2nd release date for SLEEP AWAKE, their psychological horror experience set in the last known city on Earth where people disappear in their sleep.
Kwalee presented four new gameplay trailers including one for Ground Zero, which has announced that it will also launch PlayStation and Xbox alongside PC. Talespinner is to release a brand new demo while Hark The Ghoul is bringing an updated fresh look to its demo for players. Town To City also highlighted its upcoming Animals update, coming later November 2025.
Alibi Games announced the release platforms for Egging On, their hard-boiled climbing game about a fragile egg trying to reach freedom through perilous farm-themed environments. Egging On will be rolling onto Steam, Playstation and Xbox soon!

INDIE HIGHLIGHTS
Hip Flask Games presented new gameplay from The Bureau of Fantastical & Arcane Affairs, a comedic first-person narrative adventure where players work as inspectors at the Bureau, deciding whether to fix a shambled story or let chaos reign before stepping into the hero's boots themselves.
Apomo unveiled new gameplay from Apomo District, a daily-evolving world where players hunt over 50 bizarre bosses - from fallen knights to sweaty bath demons - using weapons like bells, lanterns and umbrellas, while fishing, bug collecting, and exploring.
ROGUELIKE & ACTION
Devolver Digital showcased new gameplay from Shroom & Gloom, Team Lazerbeam's first-person roguelike double-deckbuilder featuring mobs of monstrous mushrooms and hand-drawn dungeons of fungal foes. Fans can play the demo now.
1TK announced the Early Access launch date of November 13th, 2025 for Turnbound, their competitive inventory management roguelike where players battle against the trapped souls of other players in asynchronous PvP, placing tiles strategically in a haunted board game where every decision has cause-and-effect consequences.

SURVIVAL & EXPLORATION
Excalibur Games revealed the November 6th Early Access release date for Long Drive North, Mindflair Games' co-op RV survival simulator where up to 4 players explore and survive the harsh American wilderness, driving and repairing their trusty old RV while scavenging for parts and hunting to survive.
Red Rover Interactive presented new gameplay from Enginefall, their upcoming PvP Survival Extraction FPS where Freerailers can board colossal Titan Trains and fight, scheme, and steal their way to an eternal train empire in a player-driven railworld. The first major playtest kicks off on October 24th on Steam.
GRIP Studios announced ICARUS: Console Edition, Dean Hall's up-to-eight-player, sci-fi PvE survival experience set in a post-terraforming alien world, will be arriving on Xbox X|S and PlayStation 5 in early 2026.
Tomorrow Head Studios showcased new gameplay from Will: Follow The Light, a realistic first-person journey through harsh northern latitudes where players sail endless waters searching for a way back to their loved ones in this atmospheric exploration experience.

ACTION RPG & ADVENTURE
Elos Games and Arts revealed new gameplay from Sagas of Lumin, their single-player action RPG featuring dragon flight with full movement and combat control, allowing players to switch between aerial battles and ground combat in a deep, branching fantasy world. The free demo is available now on Steam!
Everflux Games announced the 2026 release window for Edenfall: Legacy of the First Wardens alongside a free Steam demo available now, their atmospheric action-adventure where players control a young woman gifted with magic and the power to transform into animal forms to restore balance to a fractured magical realm.
FluidFury Interactive showcased new Quantic River gameplay, their dystopian cyberpunk experience featuring frenetic katana combat, unlockable cybernetics, sliceable environments, hackable obstacles, and dual-layered levels designed for both speedrunners and explorers.
JSS Games presented new Norigin gameplay, J.S. Sangha's emotional origin story where players scale and slay huge monstrous creatures while unveiling the truth about their estranged father in this gripping monster-hunting adventure.

UNIQUE EXPERIENCES
Pantaloon announced the release window for It Takes A War, their upcoming team-based tactical shooter coming November 6 that promises intense combat and strategic gameplay.
Tiny Dragon Games revealed a spooky update for Vending Dokan! Kozy Kiosk!, their cozy idle sim where players build a vending machine empire, and also debuted the story and world trailer for Broken Sword II Reforged, their remastered classic adventure coming early 2026.
Code Coven presented a montage showcasing their partnerships with studios dedicated to creating safe, ethical development environments that represent diverse talent and perspectives across the industry.
TWITCH DROPS & POST-SHOW
Dead by Daylight developer Behaviour Interactive provided exclusive Twitch Drops to all Galaxies 2 viewers throughout the broadcast and invited players to dive into Thai horror with its newest Chapter: Sinister Grace.
Following the main showcase, Galaxies hosted its first dedicated post-show experience, featuring a 40-minute podcast-style discussion and analysis hosted by Neon Kelly (formerly editor for VideoGamer) with guests Jamin Smith from Pantaloon and Reanna Francis from Twitch, plus exclusive bonus trailers including a 5-minute extended look at DEFECT.
