The biggest gaming event of the year is finally upon us, Gamescom 2025!
For the past month, we have had floods of announcements of who is attending, from the big boys like Bandai Namco and Nintendo, to the Indie Arena Booth that's jam-packed full of gems to discover.
GamingTrend will be attending this year, so look out for all our demo impressions, interviews, and vlogs on this massive event. But before any of that can begin, let's talk opening night.
This year, it'll be presented by The Games Award presenter, Geoff Keighley. It'll be streamed live on Gamescom's official Twitch and Youtube channel. You can find times in the graphic above and below.
Tuesday, Aug. 19, at 2 p.m. EDT/11 a.m. PDT/7 p.m. BST/8 p.m. CEST
It's looking to be a star-studded event with the likes of:
Resident Evil Requiem
Ghost of Yotei
Black Ops 7
Ninja Gaiden 4
Silent Hill f
all with new content to see~
We even get an exclusive look at Fallout season 2 that adapts Fallout: New Vegas and performances from 2025's hit, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 - pinch me.
The event typically runs for around 2 hours, with a pre-show hosted by Kyle Bosman. There may even be a few sneaky game announcements in the pre-show, so definitely tune in.
